Guess white open toe used as skewer on BBQ

Hi to all
One of you suggested to me to roast slowly a shoe as a skewer ... a beautiful idea that I have decided to put into practice immediately. the occasion was theankle boots BBQ (TT Bagatt).
Just when the boots were just a ball of fire, I used the fire to roast this particular skewer!
Really fun, definitely I will use this method for other shoes (for slowly cooking on the fire)

Nice to see a cute shoe toasted like that on a spit. What I think would make it an even more dramatic and sexy event would be oiling up the shoe with oil first. I don't mean oil that will burn, but with cooking oil, vegetable, sunflower, olive etc. That way the shoe may sizzle a bit if held at the right height and be more like a sausage or something cooking on the spit especially if it is held just a little higher so the flames do not take it straight away but it has time to heat up and cook rather than just burn.

Still good to see experimentation going on in the way to deal with the shoes and the photos were wonderful. Thanks.

I would love to see more pumps roasted like this, but actually on a proper spit and oiled up throughout the cooking process, a video of them sizzling and the fire crackling as they roast alive (Figuratively obviously.) would be so sexy, especially if it was followed with a carving and pretend pump BBQ with the carved bits being put in burger buns and BBQ sauce / ketchup squirted all over them before they were about to be eaten.
