What are your "rules" when it relates to sneakers?

We are all sneaker lovers, but that doesn't mean that we get aroused by them the same way. Just curious as to what your preferences are. For me...

1. They have to be athletic sneaks. No offense to those that like them, but I get turned off by Chucks, Vans, Keds...pretty much most canvas type shoes. Nike Shox and Asics really do it for me. And they have to be a name brand. Nike, Asics, Saucony, Brooks, Mizuno, Under Armour, some Adidas. No Payless knockoffs.

2. They have to be clean. Not into old, muddy sneakers. They don't have to be brand spankin' new out of the box, but they can't get all ripped and beat up.

3. There has to be an attractive person that wears them. I don't go to finishline.com or go into a Foot Locker and look at shoes on the shelves and get horny. Now, if there is a sexy lady (not underage) trying on some Nike Shox or something, I'd definitely take a few glances. lol I've talked to some people that simply don't care what the chick looks like. If she's wearing Asics or whatever, they would want to fuck her. Doesn't work that way for me.

I am exactly the same. The females (only females) must be in good shape. Not to say I am not attracted to healthy women with some meat on their bones, but I do not like heavy or fat girls. I love athletic girls or girls who are in decent shape. My wife has a few extra pounds, but I think it makes her attractive and healthy. I can't take girls that are skeletons or huge. So, having said that those are the women who shoes I am attracted to and they must be in good shape, no tears rips stains or dirt/mud. I like shoes that are broken in and show a little wear and have a nice sweat female odor to them. I love Asics, Adidas, Skechers, Saucony, New Balance, Nike, Mizuno some reeboks. I like keds sockless and on sexy women. I also like cheer shoes too. Something about the blue label on the heel of Keds that gets me excited. I was attracted to those in middle school (late 80s early 90s). I really like sneakers sockless or with short ankle socks. They have to be name brand and on mature women (20 to age 50 or so). I'm not into young girls or old women. The shoe carries the character of the girl I think.

I would need to agree with the group here. For me they need to be name brand Nike,Adidas,Skechers,Kaepa and Varsity cheer,and lately Asics. I don't like canvas styles such as Keds, Vans etc. I prefer all leather or at least mostly leather w/some mesh and not completly broke down and busted up. Hi-tops and shape-ups are a major no on my list.

For me its now so much who wore them as i go to garage sales, thrift stores and ebay, its who I knew had that same pair. I have purchased nikes that a co-worker had in their three stages of life,brand new to wore out/retirement age since I'd never be able to ask for her's.

Rule number one: no keds, ankle/knee high converse, and no slip on vans! I personally think these are ugly.
Number two: it has to be a girl wearing the sneakers. No guys or tv girls.
Number three: said owner/wearer of said sneakers must be attractive. She can be overweight, skinny, athletic, or average. No disrimantion to the girls body. As long as when they are wearing the sneakers they are not being stretched out.
Number four: the sneakers HAVE to be clean. Not caked in mud, dirt, grass stained, ect… (but for some reason I like to see girls shitting/peeing on there sneakers).

Number six: flats, ballerina, Birkenstocks, Mary Jane style with the Velcro strap, Velcro, or little kids shoes are a huge NO! I don't find them attractive at all!

High heels: have to have a rounded toe, 2-5 inch heel, open or closed toe, lace up or no lace, platform sole (1/2 inch to stripper), preferably thick/slim heel, normal colors/texture (black, brown, seude, leather, or denim), clogs depending on the style, loafer style, or normal style. No stelletos, "old lady style heels" or pointy toed heels!
Boots: basically same as the high heels. Round toe, 2-5 inch heel, thick sole (like the heels), no flats. Just ankle to just below knee, no thigh high, no weird colors (just brown or black), lace up or smooth, round toe, no open toe, womens steel toe work boots, hiking boots, women's biker/combat boots, but no riding, "cowboy" boots.
Socks to nylons: socks: bare foot, ankle, midcalf, knee, thigh high. They can be your plain normal socks to strips like a tube sock, those scrunched up socks like hooter girls wear, multi-colored, to novelty socks. No nylons, leggings, or fishnet.
And finally number eleven: no men! I don't find it attractive for any guy to wear heels or women's shoes/boots.

I'm with y'all for the most part, but for me the BEST is when you can see the lady's toe peeping out from a hole in a worn-out running shoe. In this miserable age of no-show socks, it's pretty much the only way to ascertain true socklessness. In general, the more plush and comfortable-looking the sneaker, the more I like it. It drives me nuts that the ladies never hesitate to ditch the socks with Keds or Chucks or whatever abrasive canvas bullshit, but almost always opt for socks with running shoes.

It does not seem to be so much 'rules' but whatever takes your fancy. it could be a result from childhood experiences or other 'events' - perhaps an interaction with your teachers, bosses or girlfriends. It is quite apparent from postings in the forums that there are many different 'tastes'. Rule #1: I have to know the girl who wears them, and they must be attractive to me.
