Doh!! Due to a surprise visit, the whole session had to be aborted and the shoes very quickly removed from the fireplace. Didn't quite feel like explaining the shoe-thing to my in-laws....

So, the shoes are safe - for now....

Oh, and yes - the one with the golden bow was also destined to go up in flames - but just one - I was allowed to keep the other one - just to remember a totally awesome pair of heels....
