yes thats true.
in the usa there are incinerator cutes in a lot of even big houses i think. people can throw their trash in them for burning in the house incinerator.

has anyone stories or knowledge of shoe burnings in that way? nothing sexier than imaging a 60 years women taking of her well worn pumps and tossing them down the cute.....
