Finally got a chance to upload some pictures.

Hi everybody. Well, my webshots got a healthy upload today from me and hubby. We have been so busy that we have not had the time, just the photos.

These are the photos of one of our cookouts my girlfriends and I had one cool night here in FL. It was in the 30s.....or maybe 40s, but it was still cold and we needed to warm up.

I went out wearing what was left of my Bjorndal espadrilles. I was so excited I finally got to do those babies in. Hubby had to go inside at the start of the Bjorndal fire as he could not contain himself. LOL. The ladies and I stayed up into the wee hours burning shoes. I also wore my Tommy Bahamas during the cooking of the Bjorndals.

The first friend to show up had her new (fairly new - 2 weeks use) work shoes. Still looked brand new to me, but she had ripped the insoles out and laces and used them on another pair she bought. She says these hurt her feet. So much the better, if they hurt, burn 'em.

My second friend, who loves torching things as much as me, only quicker, showed up with her daughters size 7 Champion sneakers saying that her daughter does not wear them anymore. Goodie.

It started to mist a bit outside during the Champion sneakers, so we stopped the bonfire after the Champions were ash, and Badboy and I went crazy on each other.

After that, he wanted to go burn a few pairs just for the two of us. He didn't tell me which ones though. It was going to be a surprise. We have those ready to upload as well, but need to take a break for a bit and enjoy some quality time together.

The albums are best viewed in order, as the story line follows along in the order they are uploaded.

Hey Badgirl,

Good to see you haven't given up your old ways and still enjoy a bit of shoe destruction from time to time. Adding your friends into the fun was especially awesome!!!

Loved seeing all the burn't and ripped shoes, especially the sneakers. I'll look forward to your remaining updates and especially hope you entertained your friends with some of your old collection (some of which I sent!)

Thanks guys, yes I showed them my VAST collection, and they said we won't enough time to roast them tonight, so we are planning many more soon...thank god for digital cameras, I would have a fortune in film and developing costs.

Hi Mazz, the ladies and I have been planning a cookout again, but seems the weather has not agreed with our plans....soon though.

I don't know which pink heels you we asking about....the only pair I have are still intact...have not destroyed them...yet

Oh yeah, I remember those now....I had a great time roasting them. I need to look through my pictures and see if I photographed the final moments...I had a great time abusing them, the best when they finally broke while wearing them in the shower. I will look and see if I have photos. They in fact did burn well...

This is how journalistic shoe burning documentary photo should be. I especially like the way you documented every fabric and strain that was burning, and the way they are slowly eaten away by the fire. I can follow every detail of the burn, like I was there.

Picture are sharp. Angle is good. These sets of photo set a new standard in shoe burning pictures.
