It is not only about the question "What would grandma wear today?" but also "What did she wear back then?". And these shoes, especially high heels, are what I like. I also like the thoughts about the history of the shoes form back then. How often was she shopping with them? How many hours did they dance the Charleston? Have they also taken place in kinky games? So many fantasies run around them.
So to keep this thread alive I would also like to submit the few heels I have of these days. So don't you think grandma was proud wearing them back then as the ladies are today? And boys have lusted after her either.

Both shown shoes are from L. Ibib, Izegem (now Iseghem), Belgium (printed on the insole). Belgium had a big shoe industry also producing high heeled shoes and boots for the National Shoe Stores in London for example. I also have a pair of high heeled knee high lace up boots from the late 1920s/early 1930s that might have been made there too.
