just great !!! great job, but now you have to go ahead and continue this hard but necessary work.
If I can afford a tip, try to use other tools: hammer, cutter, nails, pliers and tongs etc.
Also: can we hope to see even a few pairs of shoes boiled or burned (even with a lit cigarette ... maybe a pair of shoes in suede or fabric ...)

Nice work Mike, I especially liked the soft black flats with the rubber sole (in the picture of parts). Man, that girl had a lot of money in those shoes.
