I have a tremedous amount of enjoyment in burning my shoes. I have so many ready to be torched, but with the amazing drought that Florida is suffering from, they have burn bans EVERYWHERE....I am bummed.

We finally got a healthy dose of rain yesterday and today...but we still need more before they will lift the ban.

I have not even had the opportunity to go out and play in the mud either. It is crazy over here. Anyway, hubby and I are waiting patiently for a night when we can torch some shoes again. Until then, I just continue to keep up with the posts on here.

Well, starting a forrest fire is not the way I want to make it into the news bulletins. So all you can do is hope for the best. The bans are nessessary.

The bans are needed yes, seems mother nature sets them herself as the reports of wild fires way north of us were sparked by lightning strikes. WOW. Yes indeed, I would NOT want to be the one blamed for starting a fire around here...we always keep a hose handy when the ladies and I are doing our thing, which we miss right about now.

The ladies and I have gathered them up in a bin. Everything from sneakers, to high heels, to espadrilles....just waiting to get the ladies together and work to slow down a bit.
