You have to ultimately judge with your eyes if you're after a smelly pair. Look!
Look for the crud and stained insoles. Look for the wear and absorbency of the shoes.
Never trust a seller that says 'well worn' or 'smelly'. Their shoes are usually contrived (stuffed with bf socks!
) and will be removed shortly anyway.
Certain CC shoes do not smell, like the 'crew shoes' brand - they just have a 'tar/carbolic' odour.
CC are usually embarrassed about discussing how their feet smell and don't want to engage with us weirdos who want to buy their smelly shoes!
I never ask, just hope for the best.... I am usually spot on!
