Good to see you haven't given up your old ways and still enjoy a bit of shoe destruction from time to time. Adding your friends into the fun was especially awesome!!!

Thanks guys, yes I showed them my VAST collection, and they said we won't enough time to roast them tonight, so we are planning many more soon...thank god for digital cameras, I would have a fortune in film and developing costs.

We are still here...hubby has been busy working a lot for awhile. I have been keeping busy with ... life. Camera is currently out of commission. We need to get it serviced, so have not been able to snap any photos. I have quite an arsenal of shoes waiting their fateful turn. We have been wanting to destroy more shoes, just not enough time in a day lately.

Thanks for the reply and update Badgirl, I will look anxiously for more shoes burning and abuse by you and hubby and your friends when your camera is ready,again and the rest.I loved all the webshots essays..my favs in no particular order are your wrecked Tommy Bahamas,your SAS tennis shoes, your friends Montego Bay Club smooshed esparille sandals, your friends daughter's Champion tennis shoes and the donated Evan Picone pumps. I have several fetishes all related to seeing something happen to shoes. Burning them goes back as far as any. I first think about a time when I was 9 or so and saw my aunt burning a pile of her abused shoes..heels,tennis shoes,slippers,flats,sandals. Just a monster pile maybe 12 to 15 pair. I asked her ..got up the nerve,really..the next time to do them one shoe at a time..those were already on fire,but the next time it was one at a time. I started from then on watching for shoes possibly to be thrown out or burned and got to do the burning My mom would put her shoes to be trashed and usualy burned 2 or 3 pair at a time.THE 3rd of 4th time she put out her heels and flats and tennis shoes to be burned and I took them out to our trash burner pit and did my thing..building the fire, and placing a shoe in one at a time,she walked and saw what I was doing and watched some with me. While she caught on to my fetishes and was in disgust about most of them..not about burning,with burning her abused shoes if she had some and my aunt,too..she always let me go burn them. Wish I had my own camera.I love you photos essays so much because they are done in such great detail and as I have always donemie. Slowly and savored... I am now a devoted fan

i thought of you when I saw the espidrills in the log splitter. Go to the our yahoo group (WWW below) and the video is named "March 9" on the first group.

When I was young my parents and aunt & uncle bought an old cottage on the river. The former owners left all their clothes there. as they brought out lots of shoes I grilled them over the burn barrel.
