Some days you just can not win.

We never had floods like that . Water can from the upper lake. Down Link River to the lower. The flood plain on the lower lake was many miles wide. Houses alone the river flooded. A sawmill or two were flood out as well. I can never recall seeing or hearing of floods in the downtown area.

The fire burned the show area very badly. Shoe storeage area had some shoes burn in there boxes in the row closeest to the showroom. The next row in had less damage but many were burned some. Last row had boxes burned some and smoke damage to the shoes. I did keep some pairs of them that they let me take.

They had to clean out the mess a rebuild the store.
