Thank youu for the videos and pics. Once I had a funny feet on seat-experience. From my place I could see a girl that did not have her feet on the seat but only on some kind of an iron bar of the arm rest. The train was still waiting in the station. Then a second girl entered the train. The two girls knew each other. The second girl was wearing brown boots and jeans. She had blond curly hear and she was wearing glasses. She had a big bag and wanted to place her bag on the seat at the opposite side of the first girl. The second girl said that she could arrange her bag so that there would still be enough place on the seat where the first girld could place her feet on. The first girl said that she does not want to place her feet on the seat. The second girl was surprised and asked "really?". Actually the first girl never put her feet on the seat. However the second girl sat down on the opposite side of the first girl on the seat next to the corridor (the first girl was sitting at the window). The second girl stepped with her feet agains the opposite seat so fiercely that I could even here that. During the train ride she changed her position several times. Once she crossed her legs so that there was only one foot on the seat. The second foot was dangling in the air. Once she had one foot on the seat, the other one she put on the wooden arm rest (please see photo). Then I stood up and started to talk to the girls. The second girl removed her feet from the seat. I asked them whether I can sit down. They agreed. The first girl was embarrassed because the seat was dirty. There were dust and little stones on the seat. The first girl removed all that dirt with her and from the seat. Then I sat down and talked to them . I had to leave the train earlier than the two girls. After I had stood up the second girl put her feet again on the seat immediately. On the photo you can see the soles of the girl´s boots on the wooden arm rest. You can also see the foot of the first girl on the iron piece of the arm rest. I took the photo in 2005 with my cell phone camera. That time the cameras where of poor quality.
