Fantastic thread. I have done many mature heels through the years, used to do my MIL when I went around to do house repairs many years ago, at time I didn't even clean them up hoping she would say something. Back then the shoes were made of real leather and the smell and taste was so much better.

Glad you like standingtall, so mil never noticed or at least never asked.
I understand what you say about leather, but they do need more aftercare, newer materials can take a lot more wet abuse without spoiling.
