Although for me some wear is OK, I prefer my toys to have been looked after, whatever age.
It is sad to me, seeing something which may have otherwise been lusted left down at heel and battered, but as I say, it takes all sorts.

The original owner must have had very small and dainty feet that would have displayed these t straps to perfection; I would love to have seen that. Can perhaps agree in some ways about shoe styles and a smell which can be so much more appealing than that from some man made materials, but judge each on its own merits and I think there are still some very sexy shoe styles being produced.
In many ways modern materials are more able to take the strain of all the nasty things which can happen and the price differential means if they become ruined by too much repeated or vigorous abuse then they are more cheaply replaced.
To go to the extreme, these rather sexy plastic cuties are most likely dishwasher safe; a positive benefit for some of the entertainment they would enjoy in my possession.
