My understanding is those accounts will have to get verified through ID or some form to verify age and their videos will be restored.

I've read a lot about it, and I think that for the moment the contest is only disabled and not yet deleted. I hope that they'll find a new simple method to check for irregularities and then re-anable all the suitable videos.
