So the first are borrowed and the second your own.
For me, little if anything about the owner, something about the look of shoe which creates desire, although the particular situation and an attractive owner could only add a certain something, as of course does availability to fully enjoy.
The square toe slingback with brogue stitched toe make me think 60's era aimed at teen/20 something.
The first, as a much more supportive design, I imagine originally intended to appeal to a considerably more mature demographic.

The patent slingbacks are Clarkes K so aimed at the more mature..I bought these after seeing an older lady on a train from london wearing them...as luck would have it I stumbled on these....
