I really love how these strappy heels look, although like most ss sandals on me I can’t keep my left strap up.

My new Wildfire sandals stay up better than my Naughty Monkeys but my left strap still falls off.

When I slide these on and flick the straps up over my heels they feel so comfortable. The leather is worn in and soft, the footbed the same and the backstraps feel supple and dainty. Then I walk and I can feel an intense stretchy feeling in the backstraps, step by step slipping down the back of my heels. That final feeling of the strap clinging desperately to the very bottom of my heel and the flick of it off and under. Then the loud slap as my no undone sandals rocket into the soles of my feet, the feeling of the now butter soft and beat down backstraps folding under the weight of my feet, getting crushed. This all happens so quickly there no point in my trying to fix them every time they fall, I’d be stopping every 20 seconds! So I pull them up when I stop sometimes but mostly end up wearing them like mules.
