Re: New app shoe finds
i talked to that girl in postmark and she gave me her email. i told her that i have foot and shoe fetish and she told it's fine with her. then i asked her if she is the one in the picture. she replied yes, but a simple google reverse image search showed that she was lying. and i was really disappointing. i don't want to end up buying from a 50 year old bag. i usually don't buy till i see their pictures and most of the time i get their Instagram account first. you can ask her for email. but not in mercari, they are very strict and monitor messages. you will find her on poshmark. and see by yourself.realservitude wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 8:30 pm This morning a shoe listing from this girl showed up in my feed:

She has over a dozen listings--all shoes. All of them are described as "well worn". Sometimes she'll go into detail about how she's worn them for clubbing, all summer long, without socks, etc. The ones that caught my eye were these--I like the style and they've clearly seen better days. And it's interesting to note that all of her shoe listings have pics with the same feet poses.

There's no interesting story about these other than what I can see on the toe areas. This pair along with all the other ones she's selling are all listed for $40. That's on the high side and in some cases likely more than retail price. But that's fair considering it's obvious she's catering to guys. From what I can tell, she just recently joined Mercari. That's usually a red flag for me, but I decided to give this a shot and messaged her.
These are US size 6. From our chat, I learned she's owned them for 5 years--maybe more. I straight up asked her if they had any odor. Initially she either missed or evaded that question. But when asked again, she replied by saying yes they smell and that she never cleaned them. So I purchased them on the spot, which may have surprised her. I went on to ask her if she planned on uploading more shoes. She said she will when she's not busy with school. She even asked if I preferred certain types of shoes, so she can prioritize listing those. At the end of the chat, she reassured me that she was going have these shoes I just bought ziplocked and mailed out soon. Yeah, she knows what she's doing.

Based on the tracking info, it seems they've been shipped. If there's a second opportunity with her, this could get interesting.
I just realized something. She's worn them from 5 years ago. Her age is shown in her profile. Should I be weirded out by that? Would you?

I always do my research before buying shoes and I feel Poshmark is the best one from my view. Mostly because you can get their real names most of the time so you can search them on social media and more before making your purchase.glFLEET12 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 10:54 pmi talked to that girl in postmark and she gave me her email. i told her that i have foot and shoe fetish and she told it's fine with her. then i asked her if she is the one in the picture. she replied yes, but a simple google reverse image search showed that she was lying. and i was really disappointing. i don't want to end up buying from a 50 year old bag. i usually don't buy till i see their pictures and most of the time i get their Instagram account first. you can ask her for email. but not in mercari, they are very strict and monitor messages. you will find her on poshmark. and see by yourself.realservitude wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 8:30 pm This morning a shoe listing from this girl showed up in my feed:

Example: I’m a wedding/bridal shoe collector and I always search the seller’s FB or search the photographer’s page for their wedding pics and I’m in awe every time I see them. Even more exciting if I get access to their full wedding proofs, photos, and videos (which sometimes it’s easily accessible since I know wedding photographers and videographers make them public sometimes.) so research is key for me.
One notable shoe purchase is a size 10 bride that currently works for Disney Animation (has worked in films like Frozen). If you want to know more about her and her shoes including her full name, feel free to PM me!

Hi everyone,
Fantastic thread here. I'm going to bite the bullet and try and buy a pair myself. What keywords or conditions help you find smelly shoes or fetish friendly sellers? Thanks.

Re: New app shoe finds
Hey guys!
Finally had success with Mercari. I started off with buying a pair of Toms and a pair of slippers from two separate girls; I didn't jump in and tell them of my intentions, use any cover-ups or lies, just told them not to worry about cleaning and to just send as is. The most recent one was friendly and was fine with shipping as is. I have been careful to look for good deals, and to make sure the seller actually indeed a woman and not just a guy pawning off shoes found at a thrift store after my experience with socks listed below..
Here is one pair of Toms, I'm waiting for another to come in the mail;
One girl I was chatting with had her snapchat code listed in her last picture. I added the person and they sent me some snaps of them wearing the socks, asked me about my fetish, etc. Well, I got the pair of socks, and honestly I might not be as big as a stinky sock guy as I thought I would be. I took a whiff and it was so pungent that it actually made my nose burn, gave me a headache. Some might find it atrocious but I threw them away because I didn't want that crap in my house. The person also changed her profile picture to a same race, slightly different appearing person...I'm starting to think I was conned but I'm not 100% sure to be honest. I'll post an update when the next pair arrives.

Be careful on that site. I got kicked off for simply asking if the heels were stored or still in the rotation. The woman answered still being worn and I got the boot
