Shoesession

Hi all.

For at least a week HotShoeShots has been down. The header line says, “Sorry - Hotshoeshots is offline while we update the server - Please check back later.”

So, what’s going on there?

I am experiencing the same issue. I feel it has been at least a week with this problem. Did the site disappear?

Its still down and a big pity i did not save my shoe photos, wish i could access them

Same here. I had some fun spur of the moment designer heel pics posted.

i wanted to ask the same question.. when is the server replaced?

I'm thinking the site is down for good.

I haven't signed on here in years and did a Google search for HSS - saw this string and signed on to respond.

I don't know what happened to HSS either. I used to chat with the website owner, when HSS started around 2002. The website owner, "G" didn't profit from the HSS website at all and absorbed 100% of the website domain expenses as well as the server. For those who remember, he also tried opening a 2nd website around 2009 called - http://hotshoeshotsworld.com/ when his server was getting old. He wanted to add video, but the 2nd website had serious issues and didn't last long, maybe 2 or 3 years and he got rid of it.

I'm afraid that you may well be correct, Lazlo.
The site might be gone for good.
It's nice to see familiar id handles here!
I'll cross my fingers and hope that "G" is alright and replaces his old server.

That wpuld be a big blow to lose that site. A lot of great material was there. I came in from time to time and loved to dig into the old stuff.
