Oh trust me they are. I had a whiff of them again today when she went for her walk. I was alone in the area so I went in. Took 2 pic of the insoles and i'll be posting soon. She does leave the socks near the sneakers. I'll try and take a pic of them next time.
As for the smell, i don't know how to describe it. I don't know if you've smelled leather sandals before but it would be like that but incased in an all leather shoe. It was damp hot with her foot odor. As you know everyones foot smell is different. It wasn't like pungent smelly but it wasn't faint either.
