I actually prefer platform boots to be around mid-knee, not quite over-knee. This is a 70s style and was worn in particular by Lita Ford. In the Crawdaddy article she was wearing red ones with a very high heel. Her photo had been cummed on so many times the pages got moldy and stuck together.
