i was just wondering if anyone knew of any commercially available cockboards? i know i should stop being a girl and just buy the goods from a hardware and make one, but i dont have the jigsaw to cut the hole etc etc it'd be easier to just buy one.

The tools aren't expensive. If you have an electric drill, buy a rotary saw bit of the proper diameter. Otherwise I'm sure the lumber yard will drill the hole for you at no charge.
