Hi guys

Just found this forum and must admit im having a whale of a time reading all the posts.. :D
Im a huge fan of street candids and although im a bit of a leg man im certainly not adverse to a nice pair of heels on the end of em!
I hope to make a few postings here which will be all my own stuff and never lifted from anywhere else.
Please take a look at a few of my own pics and let me know what you think (ive got shedloads!!) :D

Regards

Ok...we have 222 views on my very first post offering potentially hundreds of my own candids and not one comment or even a \"welcome to the forum\".

I think i may`ve joint the wrong board..

Welcome to the forum man, thanks for posting some nice candid shots!

I understand where you're coming from; I posted this viewtopic.php?f=17&t=24873#p134521 which I thought was very nice. I waited a week and... nothing. It's a bummer when you feel you have a great capture and get no response.

That said, I think a lot of us connoisseurs are a little bit jaded... we've looked at so much material that unless something really blows us away we tend not to comment. It doesn't mean people don't appreciate your work (I particularly like the woman in front of the filing cabinet on one tip toe), it's more that their approval/recognition is implied by the fact that they've looked at it at all, i.e. the view count.

My point is that we shouldn't get discouraged if we don't all get gold stars for every effort; anything that reflects the photographer's sincerity and passion for the subject matter will not go unappreciated.

I invite you to comment on my own candids (in the previous link) and look forward to seeing more of your work. Thanks for sharing and again, welcome to the forum!
